OH MAN.
I am getting so nostalgic over old Disney Channel movies. How can I track these things down and watch them? (Looking at the list of these movies and when they were made, I can see the very moment Disney Channel went downhill: When they made High School Musical.)

Last night I had a dream my friend Kevin died. I was on this frozen river doing something (I think I may have been one of the kids from the Narnia movies) and someone rode across the bridge over the river on a bike and told me that he was dead.
I screamed and started crying. It was really upsetting. I had a couple other dreams and in every one, no matter what I was doing, I suddenly remembered...

Emotions
This week has been so draining.
I have felt so many things.
Stress, despair, anxiety, worry.
My sanity slipping away.
Hilarity, fun, goofiness.
So deeply in love.
Angry.
All I want to do is read, and write, and sleep, and not have any more interaction with the world. Just for a weekend.
Unfortunately, I work retail.

I constantly want to simplify my life. And by that I don’t mean make everything easier, but just to go back to basics.
There’s always things stopping me, though. The modern world - iPods, tumblr, the Internet - beckons, and no matter how many times I say to myself that i’m going to simplify, just engage in the basic pleasures of life, I am always drawn back.

Electric Kettles and Random Pictures
First off, I am loving my electric kettle my grandmother got me for Christmas. It’s so easy to make tea now. Definitely a valuable present, especially when I go off to college.

Snow Day
This snow day has been awesome. I have literally done nothing but read, first the end of Catching Fire (which was brilliant, by the way) and then Earth (the book) which my dad picked up at Target last night, and now my own fiction, which I’m pleased to find is in pretty good shape.
Off to write some more of it, and continue to listen to good music to expunge the crap that Best Buy injects...
